Very delightful post. Except for the sad state of Ava’s room. Also sad is the state of my own house. Yikes! Can’t wait to see you tomorrow, though! Ava will feel right at home:)

I recognize that IKEA table. We used to have one. I say USED TO because Shep recently destroyed it. It was ok tho, because it only cost $100, and I just went and picked more money off the money tree we have growing in our back yard. No biggie.

Grace always tries to get the room to clean itself via finger snapping, a la Mary Poppins. It’s been about as effective as the invisible maid. Glad you have your priorities straight, though.

Ah yes, a maid would be nice, wouldn’t it.? And, might I add that I’m impressed that your daughter only changes every three hours. Mine seems to think it is necessary to change much more frequently. The proof is usually laying around her bedroom floor.

I am also of the opinion that the cleaning of trashed rooms can wait when the sun and breeze and birds are calling. Although there comes a point when I can’t take it any longer. If I knew of any maids (visible or otherwise) I’d certainly make use of them myself before sending them up north!
