look friends, no pile
Hurray, the pile has met the same fate as the snow.
Oh, just look at that all that clean open space.
And I promise there was absolutely no stashing involved. The books are returned. The mail is sent. The packages are ready. The artwork is sorted. The necessary has been filed. The unnecessary has been recycled.
And I even managed to shut the cupboards before snapping a picture.
Who knew white space could be so refreshing?
I wish I could say the same thing about life here. But alas, the snow is piling up (we’re already beyond 6 inches) and I’ve grown accustomed to reaching over the piles to type on my keyboard. Wearing winter coats with our Easter outfits was not part of the plan! grrrrrr.
What a great feeling! Both indoors and out.
By the way, this evening it’s the Tale of Samuel Whiskers and the Roly Poly Pudding.
I wish I could say that I didn’t do a bunch of stashing…

WOW!!! I am so AMAZED!! So, how long did it take?? And did you actually throw anything away or just reorganize? I have to say, after I posted my mess it gave me a kick in my pants and I’ve pretty much overhauled all the closets in the house. Joel reluctantly took all my bags of things to the car to give away until there was no more space left! I can’t tell you how relieved I felt once all my closests were purged!! I’ve accumulated a lot of great hand-me-downs, projects, games, toys, etc, but I chose sanity over stuff – and let me tell you with four kids now — STUFF is one of my adversaries –aghhhh!! I wish I could sit with you a sip a cup of tea in your new clean room!!

Well done! You got it done, and very quickly it seems to me. My piles are still all around my desk, closets, and dresser. Way to clean it up & get the letters mailed!
