Badger Sighting?
Tell us all about it: badgersontheloose@gmail.com

ha! what did you say? that’s great – -
That sounds so familiar. Not the sugar behind the door part, but the ‘close your eyes, don’t look’, etc.
Perhaps little Ava is coming up with a new recipe. Much like covering the bread to aid in its rising. Perhaps sugar behind an opened door enhances the sweetness.
You can tell her the birds should be there any day now. I sent them on their way.
I love how kids are so honestly dishonest.
Sin nature, anyone?
Haha! Are our daughters related?
Oh, it will be a sad day when Ava’s deception skills catch up with her. Until then, I love how pre-mature she is in her attempts to keep things from you. So cute!
I love the honesty of kids…even when they are trying to be “sneaky”!!!
That was a great conversation…too funny!
that’s right, ava. and there’s no crumbs on my kitchen floor. and there’s no laundry piling up all over my basement.
And what was she planning to do with this sugar?
At about Ava’s age, my sister-in-law was caught on top of their kitchen table, taking a paw of butter… lick, then a paw of sugar out of the sugar bowl…lick, paw of butter… you get the drift.
She’s my kind of girl.
Next week her response will be, “’cause there are no ants or mice behind the door…..”
