Wow, nice work on the photo titles. This judging thing is going to be a lot harder than I anticipated. You are a creative bunch! And there is even a bona fide Kristi-pun in the mix not to mention the pressure of Jennifer’s “need” to win. What is the mama to do?
Hopefully I will figure it out before Monday morning.
This is the scene that I found when I went to wake Ava up from her nap today.
Yes, that is her daddy’s retired phone, which he gave her last Saturday. “How come it’s not pink?” she asked him as she stuffed it in her fluffy pink poodle purse. The phone has become her constant companion, with which she communicates with just about everyone she has met and hasn’t met.
Today that phone accompanied her to bed.
Apparently the person on the other line got severely long winded.
This photo is in need of a good name, don’t you think? And so I’m turning it over to you, my creative internets.
In honor of the Pioneer Woman and her fabulous blog, I am hosting a name-the-photo-contest (I really like contests). Of course, I don’t have the ad kickbacks to put up $350 gift certificates to Williams Sonoma (which I did not win by the way). I can, however, buy you a cup of joe to keep you from falling asleep while chatting with me on the phone.
So there you have it, name this photo and a $5 gift certificate to Starbucks is yours! As well as internet fame, and you really can’t put a pricetag on that.
To enter this contest, please write your clever title in the Comments section of this post by Saturday at noon (CST). The savvy Winner will be announced Monday morning.
Happy Naming!

“Can you hear me now?” (says person on the other line….)

What a cute picture – and a fun contest!!
Here are a couple ideas… I’ll be back if I think of anymore!!
“Sleep-talking”
“Pillow Talk”
What? Pioneer Woman? Who? Williams Sonoma gift certificate? Do tell.
Anyway, I really love contests, too. I am going to enter later when/if I think of a great caption for that absolutely amazing, so glad you caught it on “film,” priceless, hilarious photo of Ava. But Shanel and Kristi have already blown me out of the water, I feel sure. Great job, girls! What a great contest!
Also, is “blogs of my life” new? I don’t remember it. Great title!
Let me sleep on it.
I hear the secrets that you keep, when you’re talking in your sleep.
Ring? Vibrate? In the end, her phone decided to put her on sleep mode.
Forget phone number. What’s your sleep number?
After this night, Ava’s mother finally decided to check her into Cell Phone Addicts Anonymous.
Okay, I’m done. I wanna finally win one of your contests, what can I say?! I do love contests!
This is so unfair! First, a counting contest, now a naming contest! I have never been able to come up with a good title for anything, it was always the last and worst thing I did for my college papers. To this day I am so happy I don’t have to come up with clever or catchy titles for anything. When will you have a contest for something I’m good at (ie. not numbers or words). Maybe something like running errands to Target or “cleaning” my house by stuffing all the junk in closets.
You totally had me fooled, Jennifer! When I read your first idea, I thought that you were saying that you really needed to “sleep on it” to get some new ideas tomorrow for the contest!!! Then I read on and saw your super creative titles!! And, now I have that song in my head…thanks a lot!!!
One more for me today…my mind is not working very well!!
“Ava put her-’cell’-f right to sleep”
Kristi, I totally thought the same thing about Jennifer’s second post and that she needed to “sleep on it”.
Also, I love the pun! But puns are the type of jokes that ALWAYS make me laugh! My husband just groans at my giggling.
And I still can’t think of a good title. I’m with Kirsten on the no good at titles thing. Or at least it comes and goes. And my mind is not in the creative corner right now. But if it finds it way back there, I will post something before noon!
I was so close in the last contest. I’d hate to miss out on this one.
“Your call is very important to us. Please stay on the line. The approximate waiting time to speak to a representative is…”
“Life on Hold”
Great picture
“My times have changed for 3 year olds”

Next morning…mama my ear hurts!
Whatever happened to the Brady Bunch?
Sweet Dreams!
Waiting for the contest results with baited breath…
Oh…jennifer, you’ve got to win! I love “I hear the secrets that you keep”…gol funny song….
