I’m typing on a French laptop and the keyboard is laid out differently with the letters in different spots–it’s quite difficult, so this will be short. We arrived this morning on the over night train–slept fairly well considering.
At our swanky Paris hotel now; waiting for an early check-in. The past 3 days have been amazing and overwhelming. Can’t wait to take a shower!
So far the French are ridiculously friendly and helpful. It’s very nice! And my nose led me to the most amazing bakery on the way from the Metro to our Hotel. Best warm pastry ever!
Room is ready now–Salut!

Hooray! I’m so glad that you were able to get online again. Johnny & I would LOVE to be in Paris again walking around St. Germain, Montmartre, & the Champs Elysees. I so hope you will enjoy it like we did!
Bon jour……thank you for calling and wishing me a happy birthday from Paris! Keep warm in that rain….good time for museums. Check out the neighborhoods and give us suggestions as to where we should live (or not) for a couple of years. Love, Mom T.
I couldn’t help but wonder if writing on that French keyboard but needing the letters to come out in the regular-ole way was for you anything like typing was for me on my broken keyboard recently, that only wrote in Ewok.
Anyway, eat a Frenchy pastry for me! Heck, eat two (me “eating for two” and all….)!
Oh Paris how I miss your tasty treats!! Yes you can eat some for me as well! okay, you can eat LOTS. And sharing with Nate is up to you
Yeah, Paris! Have fun, remember the Louvre is closed on Mondays for cleaning, found that out the hard way…shanel
can jealousy actully oose out of you? I think I’m experiencing it RIGHT NOW!!!
Just wanted you to know I’m thinking of you, and I’ll be praying both for you and your little bean tomorrow.
remember~ seize the day!!!
Praying for your family!
Those European keyboards can be tricky.
I think I just warned my friends and family that they’d have to swap the letters themselves.
