ah, lovely! and did you have an answer for her? I certainly would have given her the feather duster and sent her on her way. wait, I don’t have a feather duster and I don’t dust. well, all the more reason for me to have Ava dust. I guess we’d just use a rag. anyway, I suppose you didn’t send her into the bathroom to clean behind closed doors, did you? wink. how nice that she was willing to serve.
Yes, Jennifer, I put her right to work. I will never pass up the opportunity for a helping hand.
Here’s what Ava can do: 1. Dust, dust, and dust: all with a handy microfiber cloth 2. Put away her folded laundry in her room and the towels and washcloths in the linen closet. 3. Put away all her toys and books. 4. Unload the bottom rack of the dishwasher. She remembers where everything goes. Even Nate asks her where to find things in the kitchen. 5. She helps me load the washers and dryers. We have stacked, front loading machines. So as I separate the laundry, I throw the things I want in the washer in a basket and she puts them in the washer. Then when they are clean she takes the wet ones out and either throws them up into the dryer (she has surprisingly good aim) or climbs on her handy stool and puts them in the dryer.

She is a happy, little worker!
